Habit 1 = yes, Habit 2 = no

Fingernails are still in tact. It has been over a month now, and I'm thinking I'm going to treat myself to a little mani/pedi action.

As for flossing, I have not done so well. I will try to pick up this habit once more, but I'll be honest, it's probably not going to happen tonight. I'm considering getting braces (eek! adult braces! I know, but the dentist says I can do invisalign for about 4 months and voila!), and if I do, I think I'll have to floss. Stay posted, because my braces consultation is this Saturday.

I've focused a lot in January on habits, and I guess its because nail-biting is a HUGE one for me. HUGE. However, I want to start developing some hobbies. For instance, I knit already, but I've been a bit lazy about getting any projects started and/or completed. I've been a bit lazy in general. This may have something to do with a very good habit of mine... he's about 6 foot 3, gets asked if he's a model all the time, and bakes. Yummy. Back to my laziness.

I'm counteracting my lethargy with a strict regime. This is partially about habits and partially about hobbies. Currently, I'm writing down what I eat everyday for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snack(s). Capital letters, of course. In addition, I'm making my yoga practice a bit more regular and my workout schedule a bit more, well, scheduled. I haven't defined the exact times and dates for everything yet, but I do know that I would like to do yoga at least twice a week, weight lifting once a week, running once a week, and bike riding once a week. I would like to add in a dance class, as well. I could use some grace in my life. So far, Monday's are penciled in with a weight lifting class and yoga afterwards.

And, for some real fun, I'm going to learn how to really sew (I can put buttons back in their places and do rough hand-hems. I've even used a sewing machine before, but I'd like to have some formal instruction). I've been investigating the different schools and associated costs in the area, and I think I'm going to go with an intro sewing class where I'll get to make a skirt. I've been considering pottery and silk screening, too.

All this exercise and planning is exhausting. zzz.
